Join us at Campbell A.M.E Church; a Church serving all the community. A Church enjoying fellowship, growing in the Lord and serving Jesus Christ. Sunday Worship at 11:00 am. We'll be glad to see you!
Campbell AME Church was built in 1888 and named after Bishop Jabez Pitt Campbell, eighth Bishop of the African Methodist Episcopal Church.
The congregation was established in 1834 by former slaves and the denomination was founded by Bishop Richard Allen in 1816 and has a rich historical significance that represents worship in Spirit and Truth.
Our motto is
"God Our Father, Christ Our Redeemer, the Holy Spirit Our Comforter, Humankind Our Family"
A House of Prayer for ALL people. Isaiah 56:7
I believe in God the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried. The third day he arose from the dead, he ascended into heaven and sitteth at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty: from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost, the church universal, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body and life everlasting.
